The father of K-pop star Samuel was found "beaten to death" at home Tuesday morning in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the authorities said.
Jose Arredondo, 58, who is known to own a car dealership in Bakersfield, Calif., Was found dead with "signs of blunt trauma," police said on Wednesday.
"Sad news," wrote Francisco Duran, a fan of Arredondo’s, on Facebook.
The police were looking for a suspect in the murder.
Samuel, 17, was born in Los Angeles under the name of Kim Samuel and currently resides in South Korea. On November 16, 2017, he released his first album entitled "Eye Candy".
