The Kenosha mother who has lost her 2-year-old son after he was beaten to death by his daycare manager is speaking out about the tragic incident. Katherine Bolinski told news outlets that she misses her son, Matthew Bryce Bolinski, deeply: "That was my life. My son was my life. My life didn't start until I had my son and now I feel like I don't even know what's going on. How this is even happening and how this is even my reality?"
The toddler died on March 27, after his mother left him in the care of 23-year-old Hunter Jones and his wife who ran together the unlicensed daycare. The boy was found cold to the touch, with bruises all over his face and neck.
Jones was charged with first-degree homicide. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 1.
