A University of Utah student has disappeared after taking a Lyft from the airport, according to police.
Mackenzie Lueck, 23-year-old went missing on June 17, after landing at the Salt Lake City International Airport. She was returning home from a trip in order to attend her beloved grandmother's funeral.
Lueck sent a text message to her parents to tell them she arrived and was going to take a Lyft. "She said the plane had landed and that was the last text she put out," her cousin told news outlets. "Then she got into a Lyft car at the airport and that was the last she has been seen."
The Lyft driver has been cooperating with authorities and said that he brought her to a location near the college campus. Though police have not disclosed the destination.
