5years ago

Family members of 21-year-old Emantic Fitzgerald Bradford Jr shot dead by a responding officer at mall in Hoover, Alabama has hired a national civil rights attorney to represent them.

Benjamin Crump had represented Trayvon Martin's family in the Zimmerman case and will now represent The Hueytown man killed in the Riverchase Galleria incident. After investigation, authorities had revealed that he was armed but "likely" wasn't the gunman who shot initially and injured two teenagers listed in stable condition. The gunman is still at large as police didn't rule out Bradford's involvement.

The Bradford's family released a statemant saying that "EJ was a devoted son and brother, who dedicated his life to serving his country...We are working with our team to determine exactly what happened."
