A Texas mother has been arrested after authorities found her son wandering through streets alone, according to Harris County police.
The 10-year-old son, who was not identified because of his age, was found walking along the North Beltway and Veterans Memorial Drive near a gas station. He told officers that his mother kicked him out of the car because he dropped food.
Kesa Brown, the boy's mother, was arrested an hour later without incident. She said that she didn't call the police because she had an invalid driver's license.
Brown was charged with child endangerment and is being held in police custody on a $15,000 bond, according to the Harris County Precinct 4's office.
