The New Jersey woman who was caught on surveillance video stealing laundry had reportedly surrendered to Washington Township police.
The suspect, who remains unidentified, can be seen on a surveillance video wandering in the apartment complex laundry room before robbing children's summer clothes and US postal worker uniforms that were worth $300.
"There is always concerns with terrorism and national security, people using United States postal service uniforms," said Chief Patrick Gurcisk. Adding that authorities are working with the United States Postal Inspection Service to find the stolen uniforms.
The woman is currently being questioned by police and will later be charged.
