a teen was shot dead by police, while two other victims have been injured in connection with shooting incident inside a mall in Alabama.
police revealed that the shooting occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, outside Birmingham.
officials said that two teens were involved in an argument which leads to an exchange of gunfire between them; one of the shooters fled the scene but was confronted by Hoover police and one of the officers shot and killed him. His name has not been released yet.
the second teen who is only 18-years-old was taken to the hospital to treat serious wounds, another victim a 12-years-old girl was also struck in the incident and was taken to the hospital; her condition is still unknown.
the mall was closed and reopened at 6 a.m. Friday.
