Suspect shoots man dead amid armed robbery near store

Harrisburg police announced the arrest of a suspect who fatally opened fire at a man who had just come out of a shopping store.

Dajoure Doughtry, 23-year-old, was charged with criminal homicide and robbery in connection to the May 16 incident when he killed Corey Crishon near a local store. The suspect was armed and waiting outside the store for someone to rob when the victim came out and was confronted by Doughtry who asked for money before opening fire at Crishon who fled to the store and told employees about the attacker.

Both the victim and the suspect sustained gunshot wound and were hospitalized following the incident. The victim died shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
