A 23-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly was running in and out of traffic while holding an infant.
Kayla Morgan has dropped the baby head first while fleeing police.
According to Marion County Sheriff's deputies, the infant suffered from a skull fracture. The incident occured near the area of highway 315 and highway 40. The suspect has been arrested then taken to a nearby hospital. She reportedly admitted to taking psychoactive drug and methamphetamine during the days previous to the incident. She told investigators she tought " a monster was trying to suck her blood" while running through the highway.
It is still not clear whether the infant belonged to her.
