According to a report, a Connecticut woman hit a director on the head with a metal pipe when her job application for Kentucky Fried Chicken was ignored. The director, 45-year-old Bhagmattie Persaud, responded by throwing a container of boiling water on May 3, according to the center.
The fight began when Karielys Ayala, 22, called the fast food restaurant in Bridgeport to complain that she had submitted a resume but had not been called back.
Persaud suffered second-degree burns to the face, neck and arms. Persaud appeared in court on Wednesday for an indictment, in which his lawyer, James "Jay" Ruane, called the water jet "self-defense".
