According to authorities, 41-year-old Michael Brandon Samra died at 7:30 p.m. inside Holman prison just a few minutes after being injected by lethal drugs.

Before his execution, Samra could be heard saying: "I would like to thank Jesus for everything he has done for me, Amen."

Samra, along with his pal, Mark Duke managed the killings of Duke's own father, his girlfriend and her two daughters whose throats were slit in 1997.

Following Samra's execution, the victims' family members stated: "Today, justice was carried."
