News outlets reported that Milwaukee cops opened fire at a gunman while they were looking for a homicide suspect.
The incident unfolded early Tuesday morning as deputies who were dressed in plainclothes responded to an emergency call providing more information concerning a homicide suspect later identified as Victor Cintron. But while they surveilled Cintron's vehicle, they eventually were approached by masked individuals holding weapons.
Officers were forced to open fire at one of the individuals while the other fled the scene before being arrested in a nearby area. None of their identities were released as for Wednesday.
It remains unclear if the men have previous knowledge with Cintron.
