Logan news, Utah news.

The director of public works of a northern Utah city returned to his job after an administrative leave that was imposed on him.

Mike Grunig was under administrative leave and had to reverse a demotion after he allegedly pointed a firearm at two of his employees during a Nov. 14, 2018 meeting. Mayor Sharidean Flint said that Grunig"was playing a joke and that his weapon wasn't loaded," adding that "if he actually did what they said he did, it's inexcusable."

The two offended employees claimed that they wouldn't work with Grunig again. "Every time I close my eyes I still see a green dot on my chest," one of them said. "The laser made it more surreal."

Grunig didn't comment on the allegations against him.
