A 20-year-old snowboarder died at a Colorado resort after attempting a jump without a helmet.

Tyler Hamm, 20, of Snowmass Village, died at Snowmass Mountain Resort, the Aspen Times reported, citing the Pitkin County Coroner's Office.

the snowboarder was not wearing a helmet while attempting to jump to Makaha Terrain Park, according to official statements. No other details regarding the incident have been published.
