A Minnesota husband was arrested Friday in connection with the killing of his wife inside their house on Friday.
The arrest happened shortly after 46-year-old Matthew Jansen called police reporting that he has killed his wife Mary Jansen. When officers arrived they found the mother of two dead after severely bleeding.
The motive and the cause of the death remain unclear since investigation is still
underway.
"She was just a great mom, had a special friendship with her daughter especially and loved her kids," the couple's neighbor Tim Magnuson said about the victim. "It's hard to process that depth of grief and the tragedy; it seems senseless and tragic on a lot of levels," he add.
The suspect was taken to prison with second-degree murder charges pending against him.
