Officials said that a bus carrying a girls' basketball team crashed Saturday in West Virginia while the team was heading back from the Big Atlantic Classic tournament in Beckley.
According to Martinsburg High School Principal Trent Sherman, most of the students were not injured in the incident: "All early indications are that everyone escaped serious injury, please continue to pray for all involved", he said.
Kyle Triggs, the team's coach also confirmed that no body was hurt.
The bus crash occurred at about 9 p.m. and no other cars were damaged during the accident.
News outlets reports that one of the students was immediately rushed to a trauma care center in Charleston. She was released that same day.
