A man has died following a two-vehicle crash near Newcastle today.
Monday, January 21, 2019, emergency services were called to Medowie Road, Williamtown, after the collision between two cars.
The sole occupant and a male driver of a hatchback, were traveling to the north, died on the scene.
It remains to be formally identified.
The driver of the SUV, who is supposed to be traveling south, is being treated on site by NSW Paramedics.
Officers from the Port Stephens-Hunter Police District attended and set up the crime scene.
The investigations continue.
A medico-legal report will be prepared.
