Police say that the remains found in shallow graves in Oklahoma on a rural Okufuskee County property last week were those of a Texas man and woman who had been missing since January.4.
Jenna Scott, 28, and Michael Swearingin were last seen in Temple, Texas.
According to The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation a homicide investigation was launched after the bodies were found in Okufuskee County, the area was considered as being secluded. The motivation of the killings is still unclear.
Reports claimed that separately Scott's friend Cedric Marks was accused of breaking into her Temple home in August and arrested in Michigan last week but he wasn't a person of interest in Scott's fatal murder.
