Man charged with drug supply on the state’s mid north coast

A man faced a court after finding heroin and ice in his car on the north coast of the northern state this morning.

On Saturday, January 12, 2019, at approximately 3:30 am police officers from the North Shore District Police Department arrested the Toyota Camry on the Pacific Highway in Port Macquarie.

The 62-year-old driver was reportedly released from the car and attempted to get rid of the drug, seven grams of heroin and 16 grams of methamphetamine (ice).

The man was arrested and taken to the Port Macquarie Police Station, where he was charged with drugs.
