Investigators accused a man after an armed armed carjacking on the south coast of the state

Thursday, January 10, 2019, after 2 am, a 32-year-old man was driving a Kia Rio on Holloway Road, east of Nora, when he saw a man wave his arms and stop.

Police said the man threatened the driver with a firearm before forcing him out of the car and stealing it.

The driver was not injured.

Kia's last car was seen heading south on Holloway Road and Hillcrest Street, south of Nora.

As a result of the investigations, the police arrived at a house on the candidates' road, west of Noura, around 3 pm

A circumference was established after a 21-year-old man left the house. He was arrested on the Yalwal road around 3.30 pm and taken to the Nawa police station. He was charged with six offenses, including an armed carjacking with a dangerous weapon, unlicensed ammunition, a firearm or a prohibited firearms license, a firearm fire, and illegal drugs.

The police searched the western part of Nuwara and reportedly detained 22 firearms, ammunition and white powder. His bail was refused to appear in the Nura Local Court on next Friday.
