On Monday afternoon, Keryl J. Lopez was stopped while driving a 2018 Penske truck, by troopers for "speed and marked lanes violations on the Ohio Turnpike". But the big discovery, was in fact 510 pounds -worth of more than $1.3 million- of marijuana seized by The Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The traffic stop for speed and lanes violation revealed strong indicators of drug in the vehicle after the research authorities found a massive amount of marijuana. Lopez, 48, was then arrested and taken to Strongsville City Jail.

The suspect has been charged with possession and trafficking in marijuana according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. She could face up to 22 years in prison and up to $40,000 fine if convicted.
