Forsyth County deadly crash:27-years-old woman dead.

A woman from Cumming died after being involved in a serious collision in Forsyth County on Wednesday.

Jordan Banasiak, 27, of Cumming, was pronounced dead at North Fulton Hospital on Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred just after 7:40 p.m. on Buford Highway at Ga. 400 North entrance ramp, Banasiak was driving her Chevrolet sedan when she turned left from eastbound Buford Highway and collided with a 2007 Honda Odyssey driven by Vayid Dzhakhidov, 32, His wife, 26-year-old Azru Mirbaeva, was in the front seat with him.

According to Division Chief Jason Shivers of the Forsyth County Fire Department, the impact of the crash completely rolled the sedan and trapped the vehicle’s occupant.

“The victim was trapped inside her car, and had to be extricated by firefighters,” Shivers said.

The driver of the Honda minivan received minor injuries in the wreck, while one passenger of the minivan was seriously injured. Due to the extent of their injuries, both Banasiak and the minivan’s passenger were taken to the nearest trauma center at North Fulton Hospital for treatment, Shivers said.

the minivan’s passenger is being held at North Fulton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
