Teen charged over the alleged stabbing of a man in Sydney’s Lower North Shore

A 16-year-old is accused of stabbing a man in North Shore, Sydney.

On Thursday, January 3, 2019, at 12:30 pm, the emergency services were called to a religious center on Greville Street, near Chester Street, Chatswood, after reports of a knife attack in the central corridor.

2 men, aged 24 and 30, were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital. The 24-year-old man died in hospital while the 30-year-old man was treated for minor injuries and has since been released.

The youth was arrested at the scene and taken to the Chatswood Police Station.

With help from the State Crime Brigade Murder Squad, officers from the North Coast Police Command opened an investigation into the incident.
